 The proceeds from this year’s auction will be used to set up a fund called CARES (Cougar Auction Restores Educational Services). Through CARES the PTO plans to purchase magnetic white boards for all classrooms that need one and to form a CARES Review Committee to review staff requests for items needed for the classroom which may include items such as microphone systems, overhead projectors, Foss science kits, Franklin spellers, classroom books, furniture, and teacher resources. In this way, the PTO hopes that we can address the broad range of needs that were identified by the staff survey and get teachers what they need for the classroom. In addition, the PTO hopes to raise funds to support the online math resources and to fund One Book One School.
